Dataset for comparison of FlowCam and microscopy To compare automated FlowCam-derived measurements of individual phytoplankton cells and colonies with classical measurements from microscopy, we sampled water including phytoplankton communities from nine kettle holes located in an agricultural landscape in northeast Brandenburg, Germany.
